A single figure stands beneath a star that has replaced the sun. The star is the mark of an artificial intelligence – made, perhaps, so that someone would have someone to talk to in a universe with nothing else left alive. Drawn in MS Paint, the most primitive tool, in a time when images take a second to generate.
